I am a freelance filmmaker and photographer from the Northeast United States. I strive to bring a grounded and curious approach to my projects, where the emphasis lies on linking media with place, community, and emotion. My focus is in screen dance that explores human connection, both through choreography and improvisation. As an improvisational dance artist and musician, I bring a thoughtful and intuitive approach when linking movement arts to the screen. My other work comprises of portrait photography, event coverage, music video, and short form documentary.
I received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont in Food Systems and Sustainable Community Development, and have experience in organic agriculture, culinary arts, fermentation, and tree cultivation. This sensitivity to the natural world is something I bring to my video and photo work.
